It's a very, very mad world.
The PM Boris Johnson has Coronavirus, and so do many other of his cabinet members. This wasn't what I was expecting to be honest. It doesn't give me the greatest hope that the man who was leading the fight against Coronavirus in the UK ended up getting Coronavirus. At this point, I think I've just been trying to ignore all of the news.
I got Animal Crossing: New Horizons recently and it's been a blast. I've haven't felt more compelled to play a video game since the days when I played Minecraft day in and day out, non-stop. It's actually comforting, having some responsibility over your own island and people while not necessarily having to follow any rules. Although, I don't doubt that Nintendo are going to crack down on people using big bad words like the F word or something in the near future. Can I really blame them? No, not really. The Nintendo Switch is a family friendly console at heart, and maybe they'd like to keep it that way.
That being said, I don't think the use of those words in a private setting such as local play should really be punished. I'm totally all for freedom of speech, thought, assembly and press so I can at least hope Nintendo doesn't swing their mighty ban hammer at people who used nasty words like that before. Oh well, I should probably focus on playing the game rather than talking about how paranoid I could be if Nintendo decided to put measures in like that.
It's a cute game and it definitely serves as a distraction to the constant reminders by the Government to STAY INSIDE. Sometimes, I just want to forget about all of my problems and play a cute animal island community simulator thing.
I just hope I don't forget to update this website.
